Uncover a Historical Hidden Gem

Enjoy a great narration (Augmented Reality) below of the "Beach Lady".

During the Jim Crow era, African Americans faced segregation and discrimination, but certain beaches and resorts were developed specifically for them as safe havens. These locations were often included in "The Negro Motorist Green Book," a guide that helped Black travelers navigate through hostile environments. These locations provided African Americans a sense of freedom and dignity, allowing them to enjoy leisure activities despite the racial restrictions of the time.
